SIGNAL IDUNA BUSINESS TRAVEL Insurance shall guarantee you assistance and sense of safety in such and many other situations and accidental events. Insurance is concluded for a period from 6 to 12 months, it is available in two forms:
  • personal form
  • anonymous form (with the so-called person/days limit).

Packages in both forms of insurance include: medical treatment expenses, consequences of unfortunate accidents or costs of treatment, traveller's luggage, civil liability.

Insurance sums are:
  • insurance of medical treatment expenses -15.000 EUR, 30.000 EUR, 40.000 EUR, 60.000 EUR, li]
  • insurance against consequences of unfortunate accidents- 7.000 PLN, 30.000 PLNli]
  • in case of traveller's luggage insurance 5,000 PLN, li]
  • in case of civil liability insurance 100.000 EUR..
The Client can choose among three options of insurance: STANDARD, SUPER, SUPER VIP, differing in the scope of insurance protection.


Business Travel Insurance SUPER option covers, among others, temporary replacement of the insured person and flight delay. In the event when the insured person cannot perform their professional duties as a result of a sudden illness or an unfortunate accident, SIGNAL IDUNA Polska TU S.A. covers any costs of transport of the person who is supposed to take over the responsibilities of the insured person. In the event of a flight delay or cancellation, SIGNAL IDUNA Polska TU S.A. refunds necessary expenses not covered by the carrier..

For traveller's luggage (in SUPER VIP Option) the insurance package also covers luggage delay. In such case SIGNAL IDUNA Polska TU S.A. returns any costs incurred of purchasing necessary items contained in the luggage. Traveller's luggage insurance may cover also valuable items, such as computer hardware, photographic equipment, mobile phones, audio-video equipment. Apart from civil liability insurance, SIGNAL IDUNA Polska TU S.A. grants a loan to cover the bail when the insured person has been apprended by penal prosecution institutions in a foreign country.
